Pros

They pay a fair rate, but you have to sell your soul to get it.

My mother passed away on my first day of work, completely unexpectedly. I called my manager. She said I could have 3 days of bereavement leave. I repeated that my MOTHER died. I had to fight HR to get an additional 5 days of *half days* of work. On day 29, my manager called and said I hadn’t finished the first 30 days of training. I reminded them that I had taken off some time when I started and that my mother had recently died. On day 30 I was fired for non compliance. During my 30 days of employment, I encountered some of the most dismal, heartless corporate bastards that I’ve ever met. I was impressed at the level of indifference and lack of compassion.
