Pros

I love being in an FSP role at Syneos because I have a more competitive salary than what I could expect at my current sponsor and I get to maintain the discretionary PTO. Syneos also lets you use it, I’ve taken 4+ weeks off over the course of the year with zero issues.

Cons

When I was still in full service it could be a little travel heavy the way almost any CRA role is, but I found it much more regional than my experiences at other CROs.

Great line Management structure. They really care about the full person.

Cons

Bonus unstable for number of year. Not significant opportunity to move up.

Pros

You are never bored due to constant work

Cons

Lab is run horribly. Sample Management never sees promotions. Starting salary is good and then you’re trapped in quicksand. I was graded as the highest possible rating for my merit increase and got a $0.26 hourly increase. The company doesn’t care about everyone working on the back end of studies.
