Pros
Can offer a wide variety of tasks and opportunities to learn new methodologies. People are very nice and competent, the company itself is very solid and with great work ethics.
Cons
Big semiconductor names have lot of power at times in driving the development causing frequent changes in schedule and priorities. Lot of contractors hired recently and given major tasks, the ones you would expect the permanent employees to take ownership of.
