Pros

Although the benefits are comprehensive, many employees seem unaware of offerings beyond health, dental, and vision. Certain teams can offer an excellent working experience, largely influenced by the direct manager. In my case, my manager is fantastic. However, above him, there's someone who struggles with accepting feedback and tends to dismiss employee opinions as incorrect. Beyond that, there's passive higher-ups who blindly follows orders without advocating for their teams. Again, my manager is fantastic.

Cons

The company's leadership leaves much to be desired. In Engineering, Ulf comes across as overconfident, while John appears knowledgeable but lacking in interpersonal skills. Compared to the accomplishments of Neville and Abdul, these two seem inadequate. Compensation is generous for those at the director level and above, but those below can expect modest raises of 2-4%. Meanwhile, higher-ups receive raises, bonuses, and substantial RSUs. Recent promotions have been mixed, with some well-deserved and others raising questions about leadership's judgment. The company used to be more vibrant and enjoyable, but since the merger and the arrival of new leadership, it's become a stressful environment with little recognition, appreciation, or equitable compensation. If you want training, you'll need to dedicate your own time.

Leadership Scheduling Work/life balance Stress Broken everything - half of the tools and resources don’t work No room to grow your career anymore unless you suck up. If you’re blunt and honest you’ll be an outcast - they’ve fostered an environment where they only want cheerleaders. Constantly changing goal posts Frequent restructuring
