Pros
The only benefit to this place are the benefits.
Cons
This company as a whole is severely mismanaged on the production level. The management teams are under qualified and have no compassion or consideration for the well-beings of the employees. Employees have been stalked, harassed, or assaulted on company property by donors and other employees and management will only do something after being reprimanded from their leaders. There is heavy favoritism and flat out dishonesty regarding growth and any form of professional development. The pay is trash compared to market value and there is no way to maintain a healthy home work life balance. I can’t tell you how many people have had to take leave of absence for their mental health due to the stress caused by management. Management sits in their offices all day with no regard for high productivity and then complain about the high wait times throughout the center. There is no salvaging of this poor production model and it would do the entire company good to do a massive turnover sweep throughout the Biolife locations. I’ve never experienced such a toxic work environment and after 5 years, I politely made my exit so that I did not have to subject myself to that kind of treatment any longer.
