Pros

1. Work Life Balance 2. Less crowded Chennai office with swimming pool built by Satyam Computers 3. Good technical projects in Manufacturing domain 4. Good Onsite opportunities for Testers and Telecom Developers 5. Gentle, Efficient and good old Managers from Satyam computers at offshore and Onsite 6. Monthly 3 days WFH policy before Corono itself which was helpful before pandemic. 7. Fixed pay in the name of variable pay. Yes u heard it right, unlike other companies TechM split and pays your variable pay every month in full once if u are in project. 8. Good Learning opportunities via Udemy for Business.

Cons

1. Appraisals will happen on time but no hike. 2. If u travel onsite and again no hike in offshore till u return to India 3. Most of the projects are 2nd and 3rd shift projects 4. Less testing projects in BFSI domain 5. At last in a funny note.. u will have only your bike and there won't be any hike after joining TechM

Pros

* Pay arrives on time, consistently. * Benefits package is decent relative to the industry. * They do invest in internal training programs.

Cons

* Promotions happen, but pay raises simply do not — in three years, I never witnessed a single one, regardless of title or tenure. * They clawed back a 1% cost-of-living raise by quietly cutting variable pay by an equivalent amount. * Overtime is effectively off the table. Budget comes first, always. * HR exists on paper only. Don't expect support or resolution when you need it. * Expense reimbursements — including professional certifications — are like pulling teeth. Expect a fight. * Benefits and perks have been steadily eroded over time to cut costs. * Certain groups of employees are visibly and consistently treated with less respect, given fewer opportunities, and held to different standards than others. Leadership has shown no interest in addressing it.
