Pros

Nothing apart from getting good package.

Cons

I cleared interview with techM client of 4 rounds and joined techM. After joining, I allocated for same client within 5days of joining. Till I join techM, almost everyday recruiter use to followup with me to join and take induction.. after project allocation, i waited for nearly a month to start the work. But one fine day i received a call from my manager and told, that the project won't continue anymore, and she suggested me to look for other opportunities as soon as possible before HR approaches me to leave the company. This is so shocking for me. For this project and commitment I gave to them, I joined the company, but I felt knowingly they told all these drama to me to leave the company.... it's not fair... it's new project, I feel after budget allocation they did all these drama to leave the company to show savings... This is worst experience in my life... Bcoz of this i rejected 3 offers of product base in between which is better than TechM offered. Bcoz of willing to work from product starting, i showed interest in techM... now they are playing with my life... I suggest not to join in techM... Likely one of my friend faced same experience with persistent systems in Hyderabad. Where she cleared, 2 rounds tech and he round, salary negotiation also done. Told that, induction and joining formalities will be done after 3days, but it's been 3weeks, as of now HR is not responding even to her calls/msgs/emails...now a days these service based companies are playing with employee lives and their career.

Pros

* Pay arrives on time, consistently. * Benefits package is decent relative to the industry. * They do invest in internal training programs.

Cons

* Promotions happen, but pay raises simply do not — in three years, I never witnessed a single one, regardless of title or tenure. * They clawed back a 1% cost-of-living raise by quietly cutting variable pay by an equivalent amount. * Overtime is effectively off the table. Budget comes first, always. * HR exists on paper only. Don't expect support or resolution when you need it. * Expense reimbursements — including professional certifications — are like pulling teeth. Expect a fight. * Benefits and perks have been steadily eroded over time to cut costs. * Certain groups of employees are visibly and consistently treated with less respect, given fewer opportunities, and held to different standards than others. Leadership has shown no interest in addressing it.
