Pros
Great technology. Generally good work/life balance. They treat new employees well. Teradata needed to change and it seems they may have finally, after two or three very painful years, landed on a strategy that makes sense. Whether the customers will embrace remains to be seen.
Cons
As mentioned, changes were desperately needed. Perhaps it is normal for a lot of misfires during big overhauls, but the word "chaos" comes to mind rather than guided change. Every new direction was hailed as the grand solution....until it wasn't. "Change" was the explanation for a lot of flailing and a lot of great Powerpoint. It is still not clear whether this is the modus operandi or was a temporary response to crisis.
