      The UPS Store offers flexible scheduling, and hands on training. It is a good job if you need to build your resume and learn essential retail/management skills.

      Cons

      The job is repetitive and offers very little room for creativity. If you are sensitive to rude remarks or being blamed for something that legitimately isn't your fault, this job is not for you.

      Pros

      It's a job. More pleasant and cleaner than fast food for what it's worth. Small business environment (since most stores are franchised) may either be a blessing or a nightmare depending on the owner(s) and management.

      Cons

      Extremely hectic and high-pressure work environments. Job responsibilities are more or less everything to do in such stores. Experience can vary wildly by franchise management. Arguably greater work stress and responsibility than comparable retail jobs for significantly less pay.
