Pros

The ability to impact the lives of Franchisees by assisting/coaching them in methodologies attuned to successful sales and operations strategies

Cons

Top-down approach that stifles creativity. A lot of UPS alumni holding sway in levels of upper management, who are excellent operators within the paradigm of a global logistics company, but fail to understand the dynamics of a retail environment. Betrothed to business processes, but blind to the ever changing needs of a retail customer (includes Franchisees)

Pros

Due to understaffing, certain staff gets more hours. Decent enough pay compared to other companies, if you're patient enough (several years later) you can finally move up. You'll do decently if you're put under a decent manager.

Cons

Always understaffed and managers say we are "overstaffed", managers can influence raises to some degree by what they say and their employee biases, etc.
