This results in a growth strategy which does not focus on or reward for contributions through internal product development. Acquired companies are rapidly reorganized with new leadership that reflects the overall management philosophy of Thermo Scientific resulting in a technically below-par staff replacing qualified above-par staff. Product sales strategy emphasizes low consumer pricing rather than product quality.
