Pros

Friendly colleagues (mostly); I had a feeling that people were genuinely trying to help each other grow, including myself.

Cons

Unfortunately morale in the company took a downturn when management would start hiring while people feared about their jobs due to some of our best people being fired. Everything started to feel less fair. Also there have been several cases of toxic behavior of leads and clients that haven't seen real consequences. The works council is doing their best to make sure that the legal obligations by the company are being followed. In the long run, I feel that the performance process more hindered my growth than it helped because it was too intransparent; I simply didn't understand anymore who is my boss and who is really on my side. Staffing to projects seemed totally random at times.
