Pros

1. Thoughtworks culture was good when I joined 5 years back. Later It started deteriorating since the management become more money minded. But still hanging on to bring the culture back. 2. Unlimited sick offs. 3. Bright minded people to work with. 4. Constant tech knowledge improvement. 5. You will have the space to raise, introduce and upgrade the tech stack for the project. 6. No hierarchy. Your work life balance & peace of mind are depend on the project you are assigned to.

Cons

1. No hike. 2. Salary parity is a joke. I never negotiated in salary when joined and accepted very less though my previous company ready to give 100%. Now I realise the mistake. Here, they give the 6+ yrs exp people who work here for years the same salary as the graduate hires. Such a joke. Still If you decide to join, dont hesitate to negotiate and try to get better package. because once you joined, hike will be nothing. 3. Jealousy Seniors. Though there are good and techie people there, there are more who tries to stop your growth when they see you intimidating with your skills. My grade change(promotion) was delayed for an year due to my Lead. And next year when I got the promotion, management stopped the hike. And its been 2.5 yrs I got the grade change and fulfilling all the responsibilities and even taking lead roles in latest projects but No hike for that promotion given. They are saying economy as reason but hiring new people with far good package. I realised the slap very late I feel. 4. Trying to make you a perfect working machine. Its the experience from one of my projects not all. Constant criticism and feedbacks almost on day to day basis and No matter how hard your personal life goes, you should be devoted to work 24*7. They really created worst working env and made me reevaluate my career decision. So no matter how good the rating for the company is, Its always our experience that makes it good or bad. Thoughtworks was the company i wanted to grow up with when I joined but now I feel like its just an another company which tried to make more money and make you work for less.

Pros

I've had a great experience building my career at Thoughtworks. One of the things that stands out most is the culture. It's collaborative, supportive, and filled with people who genuinely want to help each other succeed. Thoughtworks has also provided me with meaningful opportunities for career growth. I've been encouraged to take on new challenges, develop new skills, and explore different career paths. Leaders have been approachable and supportive, and I've always felt empowered to own my development rather than being confined to a single role. Like any organization, we’ve had our ups and downs. But the people and the commitment to continuous learning have remained consistent strengths. If you're looking for a place where you can grow professionally, work with smart and passionate people, and be part of a culture that values collaboration and innovation, Thoughtworks is a great place to build your career.

Cons

None that I can think of right now.
