Pros
- well functioning internal recruitment - variable rewards (annual bonus) up to 1/3 of annual income - access to online learning platforms and certifications - many active internal communities/interest groups with good funding - possibility to contribute across teams (internal open source)
Cons
Applies practically to all major corporations but I had to write something: - QoL strongly dependent on the team/manager - inconsistent work ethics between divisions/teams - most work is not rocket science but many rocket scientists on board - get ready to solving more people problems than engineering problems
