Average, old-style, ultra-boring, toxic at times - IT Project Manager UBS Employee Review

Pros

Status of being an UBS guy - wow! (Not always positive) Salary is decent for Zurich, but that's all the benefits. Expect an average year-end review with an average bonus, even if you do your best. Oh I was forgetting: you can compensate your emptiness leasing a luxury car with an 18% discount - not bad.

Cons

Do not expect a "good morning" when you enter the office - everybody is in pointless calls almost all day, or simply not making eye contact. There nothing nice about an administrative/bureaucratic "IT Project Manager" (read: IT business analyst) job. Burnouts and especially bored-outs are an issue. There are people doing the least possible, while a few practically live in the office detaining a big tranche of the department knowledge - great when you are a newcomer -.-

Pros

Very minimal pros- you are working in a call center under managers with very little experience.

Cons

Managers are useless. The greater organization refers to the Wealth Advice Center as the “WAC”… yes…. wack. It has a double meaning and the advisors on the ultra high net worth teams are known to make fun of this call center. Very unserious role.
