Pros
The navy offers great training, some of the best in the world. You get unique opportunities that lead to cool missions. Pay is decent, especially if you rank up quickly. Plenty of benefits while you're in and when you get out. Sweet retirement plan!
Cons
My least favorite thing is the military tends to treat adults like children and, more importantly, a lot of people in leadership either don't know what theyre doing or don't care.
