They lie. Starting from my interview, they lied. They pay minimum wage but package it up with your legally entitled holiday pay and call it £9 per hour. Frequently not paid overtime, of which there was a significant amount. Management will pretend to be on your side, but throw you under the bus at the first sign of trouble. You will get a bollocking if you make a mistake, but there is no one around to ask for guidance during complex cases.
