Pros

I am grateful to have a job that allows me the luxury to support my family. My pay is decent but not enough for all that I go through. The company talks a good game but lacks the ability to put their money where their mouth is.

Cons

I just can't believe that the Walton's are among the wealthiest people in the world and they choose to let their hourly associates live in poverty and pay so little that the associates have to get support from the government in order to survive. I feel embarrassed sometimes that I am witness to this horrible reality and can't do much about it. I do give some of my money when I see certain associates really struggling but I'm am not rich by any means.

Pros

Advancement opportunities, great at developing skills, great place to learn a skill and grow your resume, or grow with the company.

Cons

Understaffing issues negatively affects all parts of their business. However, Walmart has increased their minimum hourly rate with hopes to attract more committed employees, and retain better employees.
