Pros

Pay is acceptable , ability to promote if you work hard and show interest

Cons

Need to network for promotions, once you are salaried you work minimum 50-60 hours a week more likely 60+, some managers will not want to give you time off, market managers and above put a lot of pressure on you and will send you to different locations in order to avoid having to go to different locations themselves they will call it projects to help you develop but in reality it’s just cleaning up other stores, upper management outside of the store will continuously ask more and more of you and will not consider your personal life

Pros

Advancement opportunities, great at developing skills, great place to learn a skill and grow your resume, or grow with the company.

Cons

Understaffing issues negatively affects all parts of their business. However, Walmart has increased their minimum hourly rate with hopes to attract more committed employees, and retain better employees.
