Pros

None actually, they get lots of low end work, so you can get your hands on those low end work and gain some experience, but that will make you good for nothing if you stay longer. If you get trapped into this company for any reason, get out of it as soon as you can. Some benefits including PTOs have been downgraded, not the worse in the market, but towards that.

Cons

- Pays 60% of market rate salary - and they say they pay market rate salary. Any amount of requests for revision goes into black hole. - Individual employees are referred to as "resource" or by an xls cell number - no respect for human individuality. - Long work hours - virtually no work-life balance, differs from account to account, but I did not find any account where lazy managers had not over committed without understanding a bit of what he/she was getting into. - If you dont know someone, you wont get any benefit. Managers behave as they are giving benefits from their pocket. - Some acquired companies treat other wipro employees as junk and wipro managers cannot stand up for them. You feel like a waste basket being hit around by one and all. - Managers are not at all sincere, there is no transparency in anything. Be prepared to get duped anyday anytime. The day one leaves this company, life can only get better. This is the abyss of where one can go into with some technical skill and brains.

Pros

Good place for freshers and early‑career professionals to learn technologies, processes, and client interaction, with “huge opportunities for learning new things.”

Cons

Onboarding for freshers can be slow and confusing, with delays before real project allocation

Pros

There are no pros to working for Wipro.

Cons

This company is a sh** show. There are too many managers and less and less people to do the actual work. They have people that negotiate contracts and then expect the company to make money. In reality, most of the time the contract is basically giving the house away. It is the employees that suffer. When the contracts go south, they cut more people. Those people are then screwed over. Be warned!! If your position ends on the 25th of the month, your health insurance also ends on the 25th of the month. Note that the premium you paid, is not pro-rated, justifying the end of coverage on the 25th. You still pay the usual premium, which should then have your coverage run through the end of the month. If they can destroy a person, they will. They want more and more and more from their employees. While they preach all this mental health, work life balance, it's a sham. They have no regard for the well being of the employee, which carries over to the employee's family.
