Pros

Salary, if you can negotiate above market compensation.

Cons

1) Very weak talent pool in the US. 2) No opportunities for advancement in the US unless you're from India. 3) There's a proliferation of really poor ethics throughout the US organization. 4) They do not adhere to or value commonplace US workplace laws (state or federal). 5) It's a glorified staffing agency masquerading in the US as a technology consultancy. 6) They do recruit, attract, or retain talent; I don't believe they care to. They just want bodies to fill roles. 7) Their business model is to staff locally to the project, so they find themselves always in an endless cycle of recruiting an unskilled talent workforce without a feasible path for developing meaningful technical skills. 8) They foster a harassing workplace environment (within the US). 9) You'll report to manager (in India) you'll never meet. 10) Etc...

Pros

Positive and supporting work culture where employees feel valued and respected. Team environment is very friendly and colleagues are always willing to help each other, which creates a collaborative atmosphere.

Cons

I would not 100% consider it as cons as its common thru most MNC's. But opportunities for fast career progression can vary depending on the project or team.

Pros

There are no pros to working for Wipro.

Cons

This company is a sh** show. There are too many managers and less and less people to do the actual work. They have people that negotiate contracts and then expect the company to make money. In reality, most of the time the contract is basically giving the house away. It is the employees that suffer. When the contracts go south, they cut more people. Those people are then screwed over. Be warned!! If your position ends on the 25th of the month, your health insurance also ends on the 25th of the month. Note that the premium you paid, is not pro-rated, justifying the end of coverage on the 25th. You still pay the usual premium, which should then have your coverage run through the end of the month. If they can destroy a person, they will. They want more and more and more from their employees. While they preach all this mental health, work life balance, it's a sham. They have no regard for the well being of the employee, which carries over to the employee's family.
