Pros

1. Some projects have exceptional technical lead and good environment for learning. 2. Most campuses (electronic city was my favourite) are very good. They have a lot of greenery and many cafeteria with variety of options to eat. It also makes up for a good place to hangout when you have time. 3. If you join here as a fresher, you will be joining with hundreds of other freshers and some of them become your lifelong friends. 4. The training given at the start if you join as a fresher is also very good. You get to learn a lot from industry experts. A lot of hands on training.

Cons

1. Very few projects are worth joining. If you get stuck in a support project, it becomes extremely difficult to get release from it. Most times, you have to switch the company to get out of the project. 2. Hikes are the worst. They treat a person earning 3LPA and 10LPA the same. Both get hikes between 0-8%. 3. Huge pay disparity between people who joined from ivy league college and 3-tier college. I personally trained a few people who were of my age and were earning 2 and 3 times of what I was earning.

Pros

Positive and supporting work culture where employees feel valued and respected. Team environment is very friendly and colleagues are always willing to help each other, which creates a collaborative atmosphere.

Cons

I would not 100% consider it as cons as its common thru most MNC's. But opportunities for fast career progression can vary depending on the project or team.

Pros

There are no pros to working for Wipro.

Cons

This company is a sh** show. There are too many managers and less and less people to do the actual work. They have people that negotiate contracts and then expect the company to make money. In reality, most of the time the contract is basically giving the house away. It is the employees that suffer. When the contracts go south, they cut more people. Those people are then screwed over. Be warned!! If your position ends on the 25th of the month, your health insurance also ends on the 25th of the month. Note that the premium you paid, is not pro-rated, justifying the end of coverage on the 25th. You still pay the usual premium, which should then have your coverage run through the end of the month. If they can destroy a person, they will. They want more and more and more from their employees. While they preach all this mental health, work life balance, it's a sham. They have no regard for the well being of the employee, which carries over to the employee's family.
