Pros
When I joined Buildit it had experienced people with a proactive attitude, working in a great office space that could be used as needed. Bench time to learn and office events to socialise. Overall it had a good culture although it lacked meaningful projects to match the talent they had. It came to a swift end with a switch in management and business direction.
Cons
The structure and the relationship with the parent company (Wipro) was very disjointed and as they hold all the keys and the politics made it an impossible mission. Sale team, budgets, infrastructure, business decisions etc are all done on Buildit's behalf. Consequently, people weren't used to their potential and often had to scrap for appropriate work. The obligation to satisfy Wipro who have a completely different MO, means we felt like a outsourcing bodyshop even though we tried, and occasionally succeeded, to be much more. Redundancy came to most which were handled poorly with little professional respect.
