Pros

I met some of my best friends here.

Cons

Everything. Enterprise is by far the worse company to work for. They will steal your sole and use it for profit if they can. I would only wish this job to my worst enemy. Do not let them sell you on the possibility of making money, they constantly change pay plans in order to make more money on their end. Here are Enterprise core values and my breakdown of what they really mean: Our brands are the most valuable things we own. (They will spare no cost in keeping all their dirty laundry under the rug) Personal honesty and integrity are the foundation of our success. ( this only applies to branch managers and below. Corporate will find ways to hold you back even when you’re doing well to lower cost) Customer service is our way of life. ( this is 100% true. Customers are the only people they care about. Customer equal profit. Sorry employees you don’t matter) Our company is a fun and friendly place, where teamwork rules. ( travel& entertainment has been disappearing slowly and holiday party’s/employee appreciate activities are now every other year) We work hard ... and we reward hard work. ( they will work you hard and eventually you might get rewarded, like a 20 gift card. Say good bye to any labor laws. Managers will work consecutive days like 20 days in a role, eat lunch at the front counter, yep say good bye to actual lunch time and sitting down) Great things happen when we listen ... to our customers and to each other. ( they only listen to customers, so customers complain and you will get stuff for free. Employees complain and you will be called out for not being a team player) We strengthen our communities, one neighborhood at a time. (For appearance sacks. But if you have a debit we will need you to jump hoops to rent a car) Our doors are open ( to customers, sorry again employees you’re on the back burner. Get to work and maybe one day you’ll make money that mirrors your hard work)

Pros

-Helping People -Work from home

Cons

-Management was awful... did not care at all about employees -commission is not paid out for your last month of employment (which is I guess how this $24 billion company makes its billions) -hourly wage is dismal (less than they make at wal mart in my city) - the corporate metrics are quite unattainable (with an office average of $48,000 in revenue per month I attained over $55,000 in revenue the past 2 months and am labeled an “unsatisfactory employee” ensuring I could not get a raise... again I’m sure this is just another way that this $24 billion makes its billions. -management, again is awful... I was hung up on by my immediate manager mid-conversation twice and then when asked to speak to his manager my meeting was conveniently put off for a week. Worst management I’ve ever worked with (and I worked at the airport Enterprise location for a year as well and they were wonderful so this was a true shame and the #1 reason I would never recommend this job to anyone)

Pros

* Got to drive nice cars * It looks good on your CV once you leave - basically it shows you are hard working by nature rather than for remuneration. * Roles in admin are easier in terms of hours. You can leave on the stroke of 5.30 but still have to start at 8. Overtime tends not to be paid for late hours however. * Some great people (non management). A shared feeling of 'we're in this together at least'.

Cons

* Poorly planned leadership appointments. People are not made leaders because they show potential and would be good at the job. They are appointed because they are able to sell and run a branch. Essentially logistics work. *Hours are extortionate. Overtime is paid for non management roles only. After promotion you are expected to work whatever hours are necessary to complete your days deliveries. * Promotions to jobs in admin or 'head office' are seen as a cop out and heavily discouraged. Employees are also force ably moved around to if their faces don't fit to either encourage them to leave or pass the problem on to someone else. * Business based on 8 core values. 8! Some contradictory.
