They advertise it as a graduate management trainee programme when the reality is ANYONE could do it. There is ridiculously long interview process when in actual fact I think they are just looking for anyone thick enough and silly enough that they can brainwash into becoming what they want. For the hours worked which is normally 55plus hours the pay is awful and bordering on less than minimum wage, you cannot plan anything outside of work as you never know when you are going to finish, sometime sit is a late as 10pm and getting a lunch is a privilege. You only get 20 day holiday and any sick days are counted as holidays.
You are basically a taxi driver but you have to dress “professionally,” which I don’t understand when you are sitting in a car all day and washing cars. When not driving or cleaning you are forced to guilt trip customers into paying a ridiculous amount of money for insurance. if you don’t sell you are ridiculed by other employees, making it feel like you are in a high pressure sales job.
If you are a graduate do not believe the fake reviews and don’t lower yourself into doing this job, they should allow anyone to apply and maybe the employee retention rate will not be as high as it is. I did not stay as I could not think of anything worse than becoming a manager in this company, which is the goal for everyone, I value life outside of work too much.
