Pros

Get to drive nice cars, good work experience in the rental world and you'll gain an insight into insurance etc

Cons

Very basic work, they only employ graduates but the reality of it is that anyone could do the job. The work is does not require any skill and you are expected to let customers talks to you like you're nothing because 'the customer is always right'! You'll most likely do on average a 60 hour week and only get paid minimum wage for overtime (which is only anything over 50 hours!)

Pros

Don't really work as much. Very competitive as you are competing against those in your branch and area to be at the top of your matrix. If you do well great, if you don't do well, great.

Cons

You don't get paid commission. Your hard work to sale insurance to customers is solely for your assistant manager, manager, area manager etc paychecks, NOT yours. Have to take a couple tests to even get promoted. You have no social life, you strictly work all day from sunrise to sunset. Dealing with some of the customers get very exhausting and it takes a while to get promoted unless you are plugged in with knowing someone.

Pros

Great regional manager in the South West. Really helpful and easy to talk to! The HR department because they really know how to over sell the position!! You don’t realise how rubbish it is until you actually work in branch. Pay- however a week after leaving I got a job for £5000 more. You are paid basically minimum wage for the amount of hours.

Cons

Long working hours, they expect you to be a dogs body. When I joined the Management said all the glass door reviews were completed by bad employees! However I am happy to work harder than anyone, but this job had no real prospects for the future unless you want to be a rental car manager. All you do is drive for hours every day which they don’t tell you in the application process. For example I was doing 12 your days and driving for at least 8 of these. They put you under so much pressure to meet targets which are unrealistic- if you don’t meet these you don’t get promoted. You are looked down by everyone as a trainee from the customers to your management. People only do this management scheme if they have NOTHING else to go into, so no one wants to be working for Enterprise so there is a horrible atmosphere where ever you go.
