Pros

This review is for those in Implementation or Project Management positions: 1) Quick advancement, expect to be promoted within 1 year 2) High salaries straight out of school and generous raises with added experience 3) Easy to get into as first job after college graduation, regardless of major or concentration 4) Good mentorship program, one does not have the feeling of being lost 5) Epic provides very good training on the software to new employees 6) Flat management structure makes access to leadership easy and welcome 7)The Verona campus is fantastic - great cafeteria with company sponsored healthy food, fantastic landscaping, fairytale conference rooms, private offices, underground parking, land to grow vegetables, fire pits, waterfall view, etc. 8) I did not meet any stupid people at Epic

Cons

This review is for those in Implementation or Project Management positions: 1) Expected to work very long hours and vacation is only 2 weeks 2) It's a very young company (average age is 26) and hard work is valued higher than expertise which results in not wise and not expert managers 3) This could be a positive or a negative, but the company is located in Verona, WI near Madison which are both small towns 4) As your expertise rises, the travel and amount of hours you are expected to work does too

Pros

The many consulting opportunities after you non-compete has expired. It provides a great jump start into a career that will have stability over the new couple of decades. It fits right into the healtchare and the IT sectors which are hot right now.

Cons

You must wait one year for your non-compete to expire before working for a consulting firm. The company does not treat all of their employees with respect due to the young, niave age of the majority of its employees. They try to control your life too much such as not allowing you to drink with your customers.
