Pros

Fun campus, beautiful artwork, interesting company social days, new infrastructure and leading edge technology, decent compensation and great benefits, good training

Cons

Once you've been trained, they keep piling more and more work on you until you break, burn out, or quit. Some people thrive in the environment, but the majority do not and leave after 2-3 years. It also depends greatly on what job role you have and what types of managers and co-workers you have. It doesn't matter how 'AWESOME' Epic is when you work so many hours and have no life.

Pros

Good Compensation, Bright co-workers, Good Product

Cons

Long Hours, Location, Company Culture can be a little unsettling, sense of competition which I disliked. It's easy to feel trapped in an Epic bubble especially as you go out... everyone in Madison knows what Epic is and treats as such. There isn't much sense of upward mobility.

Pros

great soft skills-building experience; hands-on practice managing projects; heavy initial learning curve is good for fresh grads as preparation for career; new hires are generally friendly and outgoing

Cons

your immediate supervisor makes/breaks you and you better get on his/her good side within a week or your time there will be hell; your immediate supervisor does not actually supervise your work and only manages through "feedbacks", which can certainly get twisted through the grapevine; your success depends more on politics/luck than output, so pray for a competent customer team and manager who fights for you; 0 work-life balance, if you have any, you're surely on your way out soon; people don't like working there, everybody starts complaining within a year
