Pros

Company culture of producing quality software for the customers, above all else. Quality is taken to the extreme, and every little detail gets challenged. Very open to working with you to meet your goals, whether that’s what you’re interested in or moving up the ladder. You own your project, you communicate with customers, design it, make all of the decisions, and are responsible for it. There's no one over you making those decisions, but you do have to defend the decisions. Writing lots of lines of code, spending like 1/2 time on new development.

Cons

Very demanding job, working full speed all the time. It seems like everyone has more on their plate than they can keep up with. I was working 10-11 hr days and still felt behind. Can’t hand off project under really any circumstance, even if something unexpected is found and it’s way over your head. You're expected to seek help but is very limited at times. Big learning curve, if you’re starting out. Working across several different languages and several projects, which includes lots of time learning different business logic and user preferences.
