Pros

Epic has a very good support system and a company culture that encourages helping your coworkers. And if you like to travel, this is an ideal entry level job.

Cons

When you're at Epic, you will work. They're quite honest about that in the interview, so it's not as if you're blindsided. Your life will most likely revolve around work and you'll spend more waking hours thinking about your work than anything else (and yes, I am including the weekends). Also remember: Epic is located in Verona, WI. Madison is nothing like a larger city in terms of entertainment options, but if you're looking for cultural experiences, you won't be disappointed.

Pros

Epic is a great place to work for the first several years after college. You'll get a lot of responsibilities that you wouldn't in other jobs, the opportunity to travel around for work, and the compensation is better than most other opportunities you might have.

Cons

The work-life balance is something hard to acheive at Epic. They will consistently ask for time on weekends and late nights, but are stingy in giving appropriate compensation time (even though it is a written company policy). Customers learn to expect the same, and have an urgency to all of their requests,

Pros

Good compensation, benefits. Freedom to do work o things that interest you. Cool campus and fun place to work. Work is challenging and there is good training to get you up to speed.

Cons

Some of the technology is dated. It isn't always clear what you should be working on in order to advance your career.
