Pros

You can go from knowing basically nothing about PM to being a valuable employee somewhere else.

Cons

I worked hard here 50 hours a week and got no recognition other than "be more efficient". I heard the words from my team lead: "Epic will always assign you more work than we think you can finish," Basically you're always drowning and can never catch up. Until you can become an App Manager after about 1.5 years, then you can delegate all your work. I did a lot just to receive poor feedback, where others just took notes and scheduled meetings and got a 5k higher raise than me. Little bit of a popularity contest, and the first time I'd been involved in drama since high school. Just get in close with your leads and glaze them and you'll get a good raise.

Pros

The pay is excellent. The health insurance is excellent. Food is excellent. All other benefits are mediocre. There are generally defined paths for advancement.

Cons

The company hates work-from-home. Sick time is fairly limited. But most of all, the company expects you to work 45 hour weeks as a baseline and if you want to do well and make advancements, then above that baseline as well.
