Pros
Getting hired at Epic in itself says volumes about you and can be fantastic in the future for companies that are familiar with them. Absolutely beatiful campus with great food. You share an office with one other person and that beats a cubicle by far. Depending on the team, there are fantastic coworkers that are always willing to help. Great company for college grads, easy to make friends your age and pick up some valuable experience. QA can usually stick to 40 hour work weeks.
Cons
If you decide to move out of healthcare, good luck. Only manually testing and lots of internal programs make it difficult to get all the skills you need to land a different QA job at another company (unless it's healthcare related). The people feel like they land in one of two buckets, they either drink the kool aid and love Epic or they hate it and feel like they are stuck. The pay is decent for a first time job but you'll get screwed on raises and bonuses. QA is the bottom of the totem pole at Epic and you will be constantly looked down on by upper management. Processes change every quarter and almost always (somehow) get worse. So much of your enoyment of Epic depends on your team lead and the team you are on.
