Pros

Coworkers are great, and it’s a young environment

Cons

Epic overworks all of the employees and expects them to work between 55-75 hours with no additional overtime compensation. They don’t care for the employees well being or additional considerations. There’s also no diversity

Pros

Meritocracy High levels of autonomy and responsibility Ability to develop mastery in specific areas and contribute significantly within 12-24 months.

Cons

Not a 9-5 job. Implementation requires assertive/disagreeable personality, not a great fit for those who are agreeable. Leadership often changes direction on new products/policies which is good (allows for course correction) but also creates some short-term chaos.
