Pros

- Great opportunities for career growth and development. I was able to become a team lead and gain experience with management - Treat you fairly. Compensation was generous and definitely seemed tied to my performance - You can be worked hard but in my experience your TL will listen and make adjustments if it gets to be too much - Stable employment and private company. Never felt concerned about layoffs while I was there.

Cons

- Very inflexible. No working from home is allowed, except if you are working late nights :D. The half and half policy is a poor concession from leadership. - Lots of turnover, especially with QA and TS/IS. This can make things more difficult for project planning and staffing and is bad for morale

Pros

High compensation. Merit-based compensation growth. Highly competent coworkers. Good non-comp benefits. Unrivaled healthcare. Non-hierarchical responsibility structure. Competent upper management. No layoffs. Ever.

Cons

Tenure based job growth. High average expectations. Everyone your age in Madison works here. Unpredictable QOL. Some teams/jobs are good. Others are not. Competent upper management often at the cost of employee morale. Black coworkers are notably sparse.
