Pros

The working level is unmatched in their care for clients and each other. The S-64 product is a unique one in the industry.

Cons

Management seems to want to inflate the company on long shot hopes, for a quick cash out. Hope is a poor strategy, and when it fails, it fails on the backs of the working level employees and existing clients. Senior management assumes no personal responsibility for failure.

Pros

Great people, great product, travel the world, work is exciting and fun.

Cons

! the culture has changed to take from the employee's and give to the portland senior management team. the senior team continues to fly 1st class no matter how broke the company is. they have done nothing but take from the employee, longevity bonus', 401k, the company can't survive with the current management. they spend millions trying to sell a/c while the operations dept pays for it. then when operations get slow they have to cut back and lay off. Who moves a corporate office 300 miles from it's core? they really have no clue what makes Erickson Air Crane tick! nor do they seem to want to.

Pros

long term employees are great and love their work - they know the helicopter in & out. we built the company for years and have been successful at operating the aircraft and repairing parts. lots of pride in work

Cons

sr mgt team doesn't get it. their pay seems more important than employees. Communication to Central Point is haphazard or seems "filtered" - this is part of the really low morale in the ranks. culture has changed down with recent direction and try to be public. lots of turnover at Portland office. recently benefits keep getting cut. lots of spending for "show" not getting the job done
