Pros

Great people, great product, travel the world, work is exciting and fun.

Cons

! the culture has changed to take from the employee's and give to the portland senior management team. the senior team continues to fly 1st class no matter how broke the company is. they have done nothing but take from the employee, longevity bonus', 401k, the company can't survive with the current management. they spend millions trying to sell a/c while the operations dept pays for it. then when operations get slow they have to cut back and lay off. Who moves a corporate office 300 miles from it's core? they really have no clue what makes Erickson Air Crane tick! nor do they seem to want to.

Pros

Erickson has a awesome product and the people that fly and maintain it are world class. I have never worked with a more dedicated group of employees.

Cons

Erickson was a great company before it was sold to a private equity firm and staffed with senior managers who knew nothing about the business and didn't care to learn. Profitablity is even worse than morale.

Pros

Erickson mechanics, pilots, and operations staff are very professional and proficient. I could not ask for better team memebers

Cons

Erickson has very poor management from the CEO down. They are horrible at managing money, they do not pay their bills on time (if at all), and have financial priorities all wrong. They AGAIN have conducted layoffs, but this time, laid off many managers with decades of needed experience. The problem is that they did not plan on how business would be conducted after or plan a new structure . There currently is NO safety team at Erickson. It is a matter of time before they either go bankrupt or have an accident.
