Pros

It's a big organization and still have a brand image.

Cons

Where do I start with... They treat their resources as something they can just use and dump. Once your project gets over, their is high probability that you'll be out of office maybe very next day, despite being fresher or whatsoever. They don't consider what are you going to do with 6 months or 1 year of Experience. Although they pay you for 3 months, but it's like treating somebody like a cattle and finally giving them few bucks in the name of Ericsson goodwill. They blindly just lay off employees, even if they're hired just couple of months back as freshers, who rejected the offers of IT giant like infy/cogni to join this "not so promising" organization EGIL. If you're a fresher, I highly recommend you to opt for anything but EGIL. Although EIL is doing alright, job security is still intact.

Pros

Probably a decent place to work but only for the locations in Sweden

Cons

High bias against US employees, with little opportunity for promotion. You need to move to Sweden for any chance of promotion Ericsson's acquisition approach is a mystery as they typically demolish the companies that they purchase, e.g., Telcordia, MS Media Room.

Pros

I was working with great team, the media team. Direct managers were the best, as a team that was acquired from Microsoft, the managers has the Microsoft mentality, employee first style, open for feedback, etc...

Cons

The company as all, Ericsson, still living 20 years behind, that includes the new CEO as well. Too old people, traditional policies, traditional style management. They are firing lots of people at the moment, and the rest are leaving by themselves, not a safe place to work at the moment. They lie about stock matching benefit, where after i left all my matched stocks were removed, and i have lost money because of this. Employees don't have equal benefits.
