Pros

Ericsson Brand Name . good technology development

Cons

In INDIA , Karnataka is the worst place to work in Operation team ( Field Operations) Worst people are working as a Managers. Only Politics . FM lead is looking for a boot licker as his subordinates. As he has some of the boot licker he is using them as a spy to know the activities and conversation about him from non boot licker. He often shows his loyalty in meeting . Making politics between the team is his main job. No friendly aproach among the team. Politics Politics people are as a managers in FM. Permanent enimy is Planing team. No work life balance. No career growth since the manager and some of the people are in the same position long time. So no future growth. Only boot licker will get good increment.

Pros

Great technology leadership with strong management at corporate level not reflected at divisional levels

Cons

Focus is too follow the revenue / profit as priority affecting growth In my opinion strategy is too short term (almost Q by Q) with frequent reorganisation and changes in strategy at divisional level (for example 2015 targets set in 2010 are very different to those set in 2011 and 2012)

Pros

A leader. Great tech and services. Hell-bent on crushing competition. Decent work environment.

Cons

North American executive leadership will not allow employees to work from home. The company line is that employees need to "be in the office" to share, work as a team, and feed off of each other. That would be all well and good, but does that make a bit of sense if none of your team members are even in the same geographic area?? Even when they are, they call in to meetings rather than attend in person. The environment went from a few employees in an open environment with large desks and assigned storage to smaller desks and nearly double the employees in an area. Even directors are sitting on aisles! Yearly culling of employees leads to poor morale. Everyone knows that unless they are moving up, then the day will come where they will be moved out, regardless of contribution. No loyalty to employees. Poor work-life balance. HR serves the company, rarely the employee. They are also untouchable.
