      Pros

      Multi-national truly diverse organisation, healthcare, pension, friendly and helpful work environment, high spec laptop, WFH equipment, diverse portfolio meaning you can get exposure to many different technologies

      Cons

      In Ireland, promotion to senior engineer is guarded by a manager nomination and interview process where there is no third party referee which means that promotion can simply be refused with impunity using made-up excuses. Coupled with the fact that moving to another company would earn you twice or three times the pay increase of a successful senior promotion, it's clear that Ericsson Ireland does not value loyalty, so neither should you.

      Pros

      - good work-life balance - salary hike every year - stock options - good award/recognition programs - flexible timing - good leave policy(no questions ask) - WFH policy even before COVID - good overall facilities including medical coverage(including family), economic food court, play area, free coffee/tea etc. - there are plenty of onsite opportunities

      Cons

      - for a software/IT person, it would be a bit difficult to survive as this is a Telcom company. So, too much to learn from the telecom area also for an IT person.
