World-recognized brand and reputation. Options to transfer to virtually any location. High-demand high-interest telecom and telecom/transport-related product line.

Cons

Extraordinarily low pay in comparison to industry leaves only the bottom-of-the-barrel employees as your peers. Sweden-based thinking and glass ceiling for any non-Swedes with expectations of growing a high-level career are well-known internal issues.

Ericsson has lots of money and therefore invests more in the future. Mobility between countries is definitely a plus. Ericsson is involved in many core networking products.

Cons

Ericsson has a habit of cutting employees quickly especially if working for a company that they have acquired. The process is sometimes onerous.
