Pros

Ericsson allows creative and talented employees to suggest and develop new projects. One of the things I love about Ericsson is they not only encourage employees to patent their ideas, as any business would, but also to look beyond their current projects and to think about what they might work on 3 to 5 years from now.

Cons

Corporate has difficulty creating a balance between reactionary (often customer response driven) development, and new business generating projects. Ericsson will often lose money working on event specific customer requests, which are not well reviewed. New business generating projects are often interrupted.

Pros

Ericsson pays well and provides very good benefits. The health insurance coverage is great and, in many cases, there are no premiums. They help their employees maintain a good work life balance. They encourage innovation and value integrity.

Cons

Ericsson is very big and there can be a lot of differences in ways of working from one site to another.
