Pros

Excellent rapport work-private life, amazing training system (but it depends on your head of unit if you will feel it or not.....)

Cons

Everything depends on which head of unit you have (you could be in a dynamic and challenging environment, or in a limited and dead one, the head of unit gives the direction)

Pros

good work/life balance, interesting mixture of cultures and languages, content in relation with your profile, very competitive salary in relation with other Institution at the level of Member States.

Cons

Slow processes that are dependent by IT tool not at the level of such a big institution. Difficult or impossible to became a permanent official. The selections are difficult and sometimes based on performance not dependent by your preparation, but based only on psychometric approaches.
