Boring but great money

Business Outlook

Pros

Commission pays good money for established officials. Other benefits are plentiful as well.

Cons

Boring office work, lots of paper pushing and coordinating. Lots of long, boring, unproductive, and pointless meetings. Not for everyone. Skillset attained not very attractive for the private sector unless dealing with EU affairs.

Good place to work

Recommend

Business Outlook

Pros

Large diversity embraced by most employees, care about employees' working conditions, good working conditions, many development opportunities, your actions count in the overall picture but not always communicated as such.

Cons

Often meet old style managers with micromanagement tendency, rigid hierarchy, sometimes managers have 10+ years in the same position, not true leadership display, a lot more managers than leaders, rather rigid HR people.
