Pros

Great benefits - fun to be in the travel industry. Overall a good company to work for but my team leader was fantastic.

Cons

A bit male heavy at the top. Typical politics you find at a company this size. A lot of re-orgs.

Pros

Expedia values its employees, and it shows. I am given a task, and I can run with it because my manager trusts me to do a great job. I can leave for an appointment when I need to, work from home when I'm sick, and I never feel pressured not to take vacation time. I am happy to work at Expedia, and I am proud of the work I do.

Cons

Like any company, there are plenty of office politics that can get in the way here. With so many different people coming and going from work groups, re-orgs, etc., the dynamics of groups working together can sometimes be challenging when a few people have ulterior motives. Overall, it's certainly not a huge roadblock.
