      Good option in Italian Software development job landscape

      Pros

      Joined a while before the pandemic and it was really a great place to work with amazing processes and work culture. I appreciate the hybrid work (you have to go 50% of time in the office) and nice perks, and we know that salary is very good for Italian standards in software development jobs. Work life balance is fine, even if in some teams there may be requests to be on-call in non working hours (how often and how long depends on the team and which projects are working on at the moment)

      Cons

      We had several re-orgs and overall process and quality has suffered from this. We have seen several rounds of layoffs happening worldwide (as they happened in several big tech companies in the recent period) and it is stressful

      People really value time, emotions and mental well being. There is room for creativity and taking ownership of tasks, setting deadlines and working style

      Limited challenging work that you can be really really proud of. Tough getting promotions
