Pros

The work schedule isn't horrible. It's 5 days a week until you need to work on the weekends from home on your own time.

Cons

From the beginning, the training is minimum at best. It takes a week to train and they don't train you up to do the outside sales job. They pretty much send you out and tell you. Good luck with no techniques discussed. I worked from 8 AM till 5 or later, The owner was there. Maybe 3 or 4 days a week did not come in until 10 or 11 and usually left by 3 or four, but would complain if you ask to come in a little late or leave a little early for family time. I ended up getting terminated where I was told that they could not justify my salary after I would have to put furniture together. Do maintenance at the office and still try to make a hundred and fifty calls in person a week. After I followed my unemployment which I was told they would approve. I got a notice saying that I was not approved due to incompetence...

Pros

There is a theoretical incentive/commission structure that one could possibly benefit from.

Cons

In practice, there was no time to meet the basic requirements of the job (making calls to prospects, scheduling interviews, facilitating interviews and tests) while also taking advantage of the commission structure. My coworker, who had been there for much longer and was more efficient than me, said that she never tried to submit for commission because the process was so laborious. As a result, the pay that my manager told me to expect was practically impossible. -All the longer-tenured employees seemed to hate their jobs.
