Pros

Some coworkers where great to work with

Cons

I have HR Generalist experience and knowledge with me finishing my bachelor's degree in Business with a concentration in HR. With letters of recommendations as well as great references. I went in for an interview for a job with a company that goes through them, then was told I would be a great fit for them and they would like someone like me to help bring new ideas to their team. I interviewed 2 times and was told after a 2 day "walking interview" and after that we would have a meeting to see if we thought I would be a good fit. I was fine with that bc not everyone is compatible with your team, I initially liked the idea. I haven't been back in TN long and was excited bc my last job was absolutely amazing and like family, so I was hoping to find that here. I first want to say Emerald, Barbara, Liz, Shelby, Matt, and Jose are absolutely amazing and I love their energy and work ethic. I did my 2 day walking interview and all o was allowed to do was take notes and watch the team. The end of day 2 I was pulled into a meeting with the manager saying I was great and they saw me doing great things and asked if I wanted to continue to work for them. I happily said yes. Even though I had seen some red flags, I just thought they were just strict bc of the personal information they handle.... So I didn't think much of that. Literally the next day, near the end of the day, I was pulled into the office with another girl and told we were "still in the running" for the positions but they felt they still needed to do other "walking interviews" to make sure they pound the perfect fit. The other girl had been there almost 3 weeks and we were both already asked to stay on.... I asked the reason and she couldn't give anything. She said I was a great and I would excel in any position I was in and they would help me find a great placement. I made it clear I was not happy with the lack of communication and treatment, especially when there wasn't even a verbal warning. I said they needed to work on their communication to future employees. I was told that I didn't need to do research on the job I was doing that I just needed to do it and that's it. They have not reached back out like they said and she even gave me a big and said she really liked me and saw great potential in me. Which was highly unprofessional. I saw them fuss at their employees for just talking (not even a lot). The employees I listed did their job above and beyond and they still got in trouble. That is NOT how you run a team. They wanna hit a huge goal and they are not going to get there with that mindset. I was devastated especially after turning down a job that paid way more, bc I initially thought I could help make a difference. I hope that there is an investigation as to why the inside employee turn over is as crazy as it is. The lack of professionalism and grace they have is unbelievable, I hope whoever thinks about working for that team reads this and turns them down. I do not want anyone to go through this. They are messing with people's livelihood by letting them think they have a permanent place and allowing you to turn down other job opportunities just to get slapped in the face. If I was the owner, I would make a change with the upper management bc you will never hit your goal with a turn around like that. You are supposed to work with your team and build them up so they can build you up not destroy the confidence and job security of your team. I genuinely hope they get a taste of their own medicine. And I would be more than happy to say any of this the the owner, bc they will never keep a good team with an attitude like that.

Pros

The only pro was the 2 people that mind their own business and are actually there to work.

Cons

I've seen enough after 2 weeks that this is the most unprofessional and backstabbing place anyone could work at or for. I was done wrong. I was let go for literally no reason but other than "the team didn't feel like I was a good fit." I had a face to face with the manager on a previous day who said she had nothing but great feedback from everyone. I had great customer service skills, organization skills and I'm a go getter. She said I was bubbly and nice with everyone and that's just what they need when people come in the door. First, my first 2 days were supposed to be "working" interviews whatever that means then they would decide if they would keep me after that. Well they pulled me in then and said they were going to keep me. Then asked me a couple days later how everything was going which was great because I was learning everything, and catching on quick. I had one tiny disagreement with the one up front because I wasn't comfortable with telling someone how to do their job. Anyways, they offered to place me somewhere else, possibly because they feel guilty and or trying to cover their tracks, but I'm not to sure I want to still be under someone who thinks I would thrive elsewhere than where I was already...and I'm beginning to think that was their problem. Boss put the blame on the team and their decision and they put blame on bosses. Well she wasnt there enough to see everything that I did for them in the last 2 weeks. It sure as hell wasn't my performance because I moved, threw away trash, and organized things in their storage room that hasn't been touched in a year. I found stuff to do when there was nothing else to do and this is how I get treated. I just know I'm tired of snakes and people need to grow up and stop letting your employees decide who gets to come and go should be illegal. They say they are "family" and have nothing but love and respect for eachother but rest assured that's not true to the newcomers. Don't go against the one up front because she calls all the shots just because she knows everyone on the chamber and her family works at 3m and apparently has the power to score them as a client so thats why they keep her to keep her happy. That's also why mama's boy steps in and stays in the managers office up her behind making up stuff about you to get you out of there because they didn't like something you said. It's poorly ran and I think a higher up from corporate needs to start investigating this place because the turnover is crazy. I was hired on with 2 gentleman and they let the black guy go in the first 2 days because he was "overqualified"... bullcrap. The way the one up front treats foreigners when they walk in is unreal and inhumane. Her whole demeanor just changes and it's quite sad actually. Another girl got fired with me and it was only her 3rd day so how can you decide if someone is going to work out in that time frame? All she was doing was taking notes and being passed around to each specialist and recruiter like a hot potato to learn from. I see this place going somewhere deep down in the trenches if they keep it up like this. Not everyone likes a mean girl and they got 3 wicked witches of the west and a pet to stir the pot. They knew about my recent car issues and I was facing eviction so they wanted to be the cherry on top for me to lose my job. That's how careless they are! Kiss their feet or be old and on menopause or you won't make it there. BTW there's no diversity and I was the only brown girl there but they didn't keep me for long either so what's that tell you about these people? I usually don't leave reviews like this about places I've worked but I was REALLY DONE WRONG! YALL SHOULD BE ASHAMED! That's ok because if the law don't resolve this, I know karma surely will
