Pros

Amazing place to work working on a range of really interesting campaigns and projects, A nice combination of the family feel of the relatively small London office but also being part of a wide international network with all the opportunities and support that comes with.

Cons

Progression / personal development opportunities can be a bit slow as most of the more senior roles are based out of HQ in Vienna.

Pros

- If you like animals, you are working to make the world a better place for them. - Apart from the Australian Director, the Australian staff are lovely, dedicated, hardworking people. - You can work from home most of the time, nobody cares.

Cons

Toxic management culture. If you have to report to the Australian Director (2024 Director), you had better be thick skinned. Because of: - 'Radical candour' management style, one level down from plain obnoxious. No praise, only criticism, however long hours, hard you work and how much you actually achieve. And everyone at FP is so hard-working that there really is no need for this kind of attitude. - Burnout culture - little work-life balance, especially when many meetings take place in the evenings (Austrian company) and there's just too much work to get done in the time imparted and the Director is NEVER satisfied and couldn't care less. - Absent Management - no inspiring leadership, no vision, just trying to do the least amount possible and cover their back. - Bullying issues - in my nearly 30 years of career, I was not been treated badly by my Managers and I stayed friends with a lot of them. But I have never met someone who put their employees down as much as the FP Australian Director. I think she takes a pervese pleasure in destroying people's confidence. - Don't ask a question, you won't get answer. Apparently that's the way you learn. This is the coaching method of the Director. - Awful office environment - the Director gives such bad vibes that it creates a terrible atmosphere. Nobody likes going to the office. As a result, most people work from home. - Challenging to work with someone who changes their mind all the time but says they never said what they said a few days before. - Unnecessary bureaucratic way of working, which slows down everything - again fostered by the Director. - As an aside, you are meant to be able to bring your pet in the office - not true because the Director brings their dog and it is not a dog who can socialise with other animals.
