Pros

You will learn lots of technologies as you will be assigned to different projects. In each transition, expect required trainings and certifications. Your flexibility as a developer will be really tested. In all my teams, the transition was seamless as teammates, leads and even managers of other department were great and open for communication.

Cons

Slightly lower salary vs competitors.
