Pros

There are many people who have been with company for over 10+ years. People are friendly, many working parents with children (small or big). There are opportunities to change a job within a company, since this company is big and has various subsidiaries, etc.

Cons

There are opportunities to change a job within the company, however, the promotions are somewhat limited. Japanese employees from Fujitsu in Japan have more say in everything and all the important decisions are made in Japan.

Pros

Very good hardware ranges Occasional technical training Good pension Amazing people

Cons

-Lower than market rate salary -Unfair 1-2-1 performance reviews -Non-stop re-organisations -Management do wrong financial forecast at the beginning of the year then later realising it was unreal start cutting corners saying we are in lost. As a result all the budget gets slashed. -Whole performance review is based on peer feedbacks and managers are desperate to downgrade your performance because they have been told that exceptional performance is unrealistic thing to obtain. If you have say 10 team objectives and a particular piece of work can only satisfy 7 of them you will be forced to take it, but then at the end of the year you will be blamed on performance review for not meeting the remaining 3 items. This is unfair because it is not employee's fault that he/she was not given a proper work. By other word if you are CSA3 and doing CSA2 piece of work due to absence of CSA3 related work then even if you do it exceptionally you will not be able to obtain exceptional performance. Moreover the whole performance review process is uncontrolled and manager chose not to honour any high mark to employees because they do not want to be grilled by backing them up later in front of their managers. Although there are procedure to follow nobody follow them. -There are no or a very few company provided labs for architects to build their solutions which leads to multiple rework/project failures -Instead of saying "follow/stick to the procedures" managers says "cover your back". -You are just a body/number for your management
